Sensio Home aims to be the market leader for environmentally friendly, socially responsible and ethical products in the Home category.
All of our Sensio Home products have an independent ethical audit in the form of either SA:8000, BSCI or SMETA certification. We are also members of both Sedex and Amfori, helping in our efforts to encourage and actively engage our supply base in socially, ethical practices. These include fair wage practises.
We carry out internal quality assurance audits on all manufacturing sites to verify quality processes and procedures being in place to ensure the highest levels of product quality. An extensive development process is followed ahead of launch of any new product involving product testing and accelerated life testing ahead of production. All our Sensio Home products undergo final inspection before the goods leave source aligned to internationally recognised acceptance quality limit standards before shipment.
Our giftbox packaging is recyclable as it is made from pulp so can be recycled at the curb side and at local council recycling facilities.
Any plastic polybags can also be recycled at larger stores of major supermarkets where collection facilities are available.
As with all electrical products, at the end of life they should be taken to local council recycling facilities for reprocessing either in the UK or abroad.
Our paints are solvent-free, water based formulations, which reflect our respect for the natural world. They are low VOC which means less harmful chemicals. This also leads to a more easily biodegradable end product. They are therefore safe and easy to use.
Our wood stains are rigorously inspected and manufactured in the U.K to an ISO 9001 audited Quality Management System.
