Ingredients:
150ml water
6tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp Mirin (Japanese rice wine)
2 tbsp Sesame oil
2 tbsp grated fresh ginger
4 tsp garlic, crushed
6 tbsp sugar
1 ½ tsp cornflour
4 small spring onions, finely chopped
Method
1.  Combine the water, soy sauce, Mirin, sesame oil, ginger and garlic in a small saucepan.  Heat until warm.
2. Using the 3 in 1 hand blender attach the balloon whisk to the motor handle and whisk in the sugar and cornflour.
3.  Simmer the mixture over a medium heat until thickened for about 5 minutes.
4. Add spring onions. Whisk to combine.
5. Reserve half to glaze food while cooking. Drizzle glaze over finished food or serve on the side.
